INDESCRIBABLE PEACE

Here is Keaton, our 5-year old, resting peacefully in my lap. He isn't the one to jump ecstatically for joy, but his subtle expressions demonstrate oh so well his heart. Seeing the faint traces of punch on his lips, the calmness in his eyes (and thus his soul), and the joy in the upward curves of his lips brings this daddy great joy and indescribable, and incomprehensible, peace.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7
